Shiroe entered Floor 001 and discovered some interesting information about Keith Anyan. Due to his break in, he was captured and put through another psion check. However, Shiroe has an unbendable will to remember his past and escapes the lab.

Keith accidentally found a tired Shiroe and helped him even though he knew that the boy was being pursued. Despite his kindness, Shiroe still disrecpected him and taunted him with some information about his past. Before Keith could get anything else out of the boy, guards barged into his room and captured Shiroe. Before he was electricuted, Shiroe told Keith to find out the truth in Floor 001.

It seems the scientists were at work. They were trying to erase the memories of the previous flight training from the students. The next day Sam and the rest forgot what had happened except for Keith. Memories of Shiroe were erased as well. In the lounge area, Jomy Marquis Shin tries to make another contact. He got into the minds of everyone in the station and spoke and acted through them.

Keith, the only one not affected by the phsycic contact, shuts the station to cut of the transmission. Meanwhile, Shiroe heard Peter Pan’s (Jomy) calls and the sudden urge to get away gave him the power to break free once again.

Mother Eliza praised the confused Keith and told him to be at peace. He was still at loss to why Sam and the others had lost their memories and questions Mother Eliza in their session. Their meeting was cut off when Shiroe took a ship and tried to escape the station. Keith was ordered to bring back Shiroe who’s abilities seem to have awakened.

As he flew into space, Shiroe narrates parts of Peter Pan. Keith, while pursuing the boy, questions what he has been taught. As they get further away, Shiroe starts to weaken and Mother Eliza finally orders Keith to shoot him down. Keith, being taught to follow the Mother, hesitates but starts to ready the ammunition. Shiroe calls out to Peter Pan once more to take him to Neverland (Terra) and Keith finally fires the laser. Behind his darkened helmet, Keith cried.

This episode made me determined to watch this series through the end. At first I was doubtful about the character designs. It was like sticking old, Westernized characters into  a modern setting. But now I fallen in love with them. I actually didn’t see Shiroe’s death coming until about halfway through this episode. Most likely because I had hopes of him getting into the “M” ship. This episode practically made me cry. Kinda.  During the end, when Shiroe narrated Peter Pan and Keith was hesitating, I thought Keith actually had the heart in him to let Shiroe go. So while I saw it coming, I busy cursing at Keith and Mother Eliza. Anyways, this episode was absolutely dramatic and reminded me of Nina’s death from FMA. It’s frustrating when you like a character in the series and their arc ends with their death. But, I have to admit, this was beautifully executed and I loved the whole Peter Pan integration. Can’t wait to see how the Mu people are doing though.

By the way the series seems to be going really fast. Swena left and now Shiroe dies.
