Hitomi no Tsubasa by access
I have to say I’m highly disappointed. After being deprived of Code Geass for weeks and seeing as this was the finale of season 1, I was expecting something… well… more. Hitomi no Tsubasa just doesn’t stick to you like how COLORS and Mosaic Kakera did. I think after going through Kaidoku Funou, I can say without a doubt that the spot for the worst Code Geass opening has been replaced. Yes, the song is … pleasant, but seeing as this was supposed to be epic I was expecting a lasting impression (no I didn’t listen to the song prior to the RAW). Sure the chorus was rather interesting, but then again all songs try to redeem themselves during the chorus. What’s with the images anyways? Kaidoku Funou was survivable because we had some nice things to look at, but this? It looks like a fan made video I saw a few months ago… just replace the background with shojou-esque bubbles and colours. Even the fight scenes were from past episodes. Ahhh. what a negative start. Still, I’m listening to it now, preparing for when subs come. It’s not annoying but it isn’t exactly grand either.
I just finished watching the RAW and screencapping. I’ll wait for subs before blogging episodes 24 & 25 though. Besides, I’m kinda busy wtfing right now.
