I WAS AS SHOCKED AS YOU WERE. I came back and tried to update my list of manga scans to read, and I found a new one, Bakuman. TOTALLY expected to to be about some kind of a sport. Then I clicked on the cover page and the art reminded me of that of Obata-sensei. I immediately looked up the artist and whaddyaknow, another team effort by Ohba-sensei and Obata-sensei. Kind of embarrassed that I haven't read the first chapter yet, but I SO will. And it looks interesting. But I'm slightly apprehensive, for the mangakas' sakes, that Bakuman may not turn out as popular as Death Note. I mean, people see the Dream Team Duo of Ohba and Obata, and expect great things from them, which means that when they read Bakuman, they will immediately compare it with Death Note. And Death Note was amazing. So, what if Bakuman can't live up to expectations that are quite as high...? GAH DUDE YEAH EXACTLY!! I WAS AS SHOCKED AS YOU WERE.
